Terms of Electronic Service Provision

These terms define the rules for using the BudgetBuddy application - your reliable personal finance management tool.

General Provisions

Service: Web application for personal budget management available at budget-buddy.pl (budget-buddy.eu)
User: Natural person using BudgetBuddy services after account registration

Registration Conditions

Requirements

The user must be of legal age and have full legal capacity.

Registration data

Required: email address, username, password. Data must be true and current.

Account security

The user is responsible for the security of their password and does not share login credentials.

Scope of Services

Digital Services

BudgetBuddy provides exclusively digital services - a web application for personal finance management. We do not sell physical products.

Basic Functions

Budget Management: Creating and editing monthly budgets
Expense Categories: Organization and categorization of transactions
Analysis and Reports: Expense overview and financial analysis
Documents scanner: Digitization of receipts and bank statements (digital service)

Payments and subscriptions

Przelewy24 payments: Secure subscription payments handled by Przelewy24
Payment security: All transactions are encrypted and secured according to PCI DSS standards
Recurring subscriptions: Automatic renewal of Premium and Plus plans

Analytics and statistics

Google Analytics: Application usage analysis for improvement purposes (only with user consent)
Data privacy: Financial data is never shared with Google Analytics

User Obligations

The user undertakes to:

Use the service in accordance with the law and good practices
Provide true data during registration
Not share login credentials with third parties
Not interfere with the application's operation
Not transfer rights and obligations to third parties

Prohibitions

Prohibited actions

Attempts to break in or breach security
Using the application for purposes contrary to law
Copying, modifying or distributing code
Creating multiple accounts by one person

Payments, Subscriptions and Refunds

Recurring subscriptions

Plus and Premium subscriptions are automatically renewed monthly. Consumer can terminate the contract at any time - already paid period is not refundable after 14 days from purchase (unless withdrawal right exclusions apply).

Payment Rules

Payment Operator: PayPro S.A. (Przelewy24), [PAYPRO_ADDRESS], VAT: [PAYPRO_VAT]
Security: Payments secured with PCI DSS standards. Card data is not stored by BudgetBuddy.
Payment Processing: Payment required before subscription activation. Access to Premium/Plus features after payment processing.

Right of Withdrawal

Term: 14 calendar days from subscription purchase date without giving reason (according to EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Consumer Rights Act).
Method of Notification: Withdrawal statement should be sent to: refunds@budget-buddy.eu or by mail to: Bandurskiego 47B, 05-270 Marki.
Refund: Refund within 14 days of receiving the statement, to the bank account indicated by the customer.
Proportional Refund: If customer used the service, refund reduced by the value of the used period (art. 35 Consumer Rights Act).

Withdrawal Right Exclusions

Right of withdrawal expires in case of:

Full provision of the digital service, when the consumer has consented to start the service before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.
Active use of application for longer than 48 hours from subscription activation
Adding more than 50 transactions or using document scanner functionality
Using Premium features: data export, advanced reports, monthly/yearly analysis

Important: Purchasing subscription means consenting to immediate start of digital service provision. Right of withdrawal applies, but refund is proportional to used period.

Complaints

Method of Notification: Complaints should be submitted to: complaints@budget-buddy.eu with order number and problem description.
Processing Time: Complaints processed within 14 business days from receipt date.
Problem Resolution: In case of complaint acceptance: subscription extension, refund or other form of compensation.

Responsibility

Service Provider

Makes every effort to ensure service continuity and security, but does not guarantee the absence of technical interruptions.

User

Bears full responsibility for the data entered and the way the application is used.

Data

The user regularly creates backups of their data. The service provider is not responsible for data loss.

Contract Termination

By the user: At any time by deleting the account in the application settings
By the service provider: In case of violation of the terms, after prior warning
Effects of termination: Permanent deletion of the account and all user data

Applicable Law

Polish law

In matters not regulated by these terms, the provisions of Polish law apply, in particular the Act on the provision of electronic services and the Civil Code.
